New York Strips are a customer favorite, but we’ve boosted their quality by sourcing them from our Northwest beef that receives the USDA Prime grade. Only 3% of all beef in the U. S. meets the stringent marbling requirements, so you know these are special steaks. We’ve further improved our New York Strips by leaving the bone in place for an appetizing plate appearance and enhanced flavor. All-in-all these changes result in a flavorful new take on this steakhouse classic.

Steak Temperature Guide

Here are the magic numbers you’ll need to determine when your steak is cooked to the degree of doneness you most prefer. The internal temp is when the steak should be removed from the heat. The steak will continue to cook so the temperature will rise during the rest period.

Preference Description Internal Temp
Rare Red center, very cool 110°F
Medium Rare Red, warm center 120°F
Medium Pink throughout 130°F
Medium Well Pink center 140°F
Well No pink Not recommended

*Consuming raw or undercooked meats may increase your risk of foodborne illness. The USDA recommends an internal temp of 145°F and resting for at least 3 minutes.

  • FLAVOR LOADED STEAKS!

    My family and I had a recent celebration and wanted to have a meal that fit the occasion. We had never ordered from SRF and were quite nervous getting frozen meat. When we saw the recommendation from The Metropolitan Grill in Seattle (the best restaurant steak we've ever had) we said "Let's go for it." Deciding on the cut was the hard part. I like filet and my husband prefers ribeye so we compromised on the bone-in New York strips. They arrived beautifully packaged and just in time to thaw for our plans. Let me tell you, these steaks did not disappoint. The flavor and texture were amazing and delicious. Can't believe we waited so long and will definitely order again. Thanks SRF for delivering a superb product!

    These are our family favorite steak that we have had from SRF. I converted my wife from a ribeye lover to now a New York strip lover. Definitely will be ordering these again!

    Grew up with pasture fed beef. Reminds me of my childhood days on the ranch. Steaks are nicely cut, tender and very flavorful.
