Good, but not great
No doubt this pork is much tastier than your average store bought pork ribs. That being said I went back and forth between giving these a three or a four star rating. The first deduction is for the meatiness or lack there of. I realize these are baby backs and also come from the leaner Berkshire pig, However, I've had baby backs from this breed in the past and these were a bit of a disappointment regarding meat on the bone. Now to the second star deduction. I couldn't knock it on size alone as I had read all the reviews noting that these ribs were very very small. Even knowing that I was a bit shocked when I saw them. Actually, I just had to smile... They were so cute, like miniature toy ribs.. Anyway, I didn't let that stop me from getting them in the smoker. Like I said at the top, these ribs were very very tasty. The decision to withhold the fourth star was based on size/meatiness vs. price or the overall value of what I got for what I paid. I would likely buy these all day long If they were in the $15 range. I know I won't buy these again at full price and not likely even at the current sale price ($22). I have a few racks of the st Lewis cut ribs that'll get smoked this weekend with a review to follow.

Petite, Sweet, Luxurious, Delectible Meat
Pricey, yep. Tiny, yep. Heck, there were 4 in my order that did not even weigh 1 lb., but the taste more than compensated for their size. Undoubtedly, awesome delicious SRF Kurobuta pork. Slow cooked 4 coffee rubbed ribs in oven and toward the end of the quick oven baked time, basted continually at higher temperature with a bourbon infused favorite BBQ sauce. Another 4 SRF Baby Back ribs slow cooked in oven, seasoned with only salt and pepper -- delectable little morsels. Last 4 larger ribs were slow smoked 1 1/2 hours by a novice smoker -- kids gobbled them up, and refused the sauce.
Again, the price makes the ribs a luxury, but the taste demands them. I have purchased all SRF Kurobuta pork products without disappointment and the staff ensures your happiness -- Supermarkets cannot compete with SRF service and pork products.
Will buy more of these little gems as soon as the freezer allows.

When I opened the box of 8 slabs, I was like, "What the...." these ribs were cut very strangely, I measured some ribs at less that 2" long. Obviously they're selling by the piece, not the pound. But I have to admit, they turned out very very good. I will be ordering more. I'm NOT HAPPY! But I will be ordering more. ::: sigh :::
