The tenderloin is juicy, flavorful and, true to its name, deliciously tender to the bite. Boneless with no visible fat, our Kurobuta Pork Tenderloin cooks quickly and can be prepared simply as is, dry rubbed or seasoned with marinades. This delectable, small cut cooks quickly making it fantastic for a fast weeknight meal or an informal weekend grilling session. Each package contains 2 tenderloins, approximately 3/4 lb. each.
This is a natural product and weights can can vary up to +/- 0.5 pounds.
The tenderloin is a long slender cut that is indeed extremely tender because it is used very little by the hog. The specific muscle is the psoas major. There is little intramuscular fat, so it’s important to not overcook the tenderloin.
