Southside Market and Barbeque is the oldest BBQ joint in Texas. The product that started it all in 1882 is their original smoked beef sausage, known by locals and old timers as Elgin Hot Sausage. The Southside folks offered to use their original recipe with our American Wagyu and a new classic was born.
Snake River Farms American Wagyu beef is coarsely ground, seasoned with fresh cracked pepper and formed in a natural pork casing. The freshly made sausages are smoked to perfection for a delicious eating experience. Each four-pack of smoked beef sausages arrives at your door frozen, fully cooked and ready to prepare. Just thaw completely and heat in a smoker, on a grill, or saute in a skillet. These sausages are gluten free and are made without MSG.
Southside Market and Barbeque was founded in 1882 in Elgin, Texas and is currently owned and operated by Bryan and Rachel Bracewell, the third generation of the family to operate the storied business. Today, Southside continues its tradition of excellence using the time-proven techniques and ingredients to produce world class BBQ.
