Truffle Butter

A special compound butter made with shallots, garlic, and real truffles. This is a great final touch to try on any American Wagyu steak.

Ingredients

Truffle Butter

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped shallots
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • 1 black truffle
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon black truffle oil
  • Salt and pepper

Truffle Butter

In a small pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat, add in shallots and garlic, and cook until they sweat out and turn translucent. Set aside to cool completely.
Place softened butter into a mixing bowl, add cooled shallots, garlic and truffle oil.
Serve on top of your steak. Lightly broil or torch to melt.
