Black cod is a fish that goes by several names including Alaskan cod and butterfish. Technically, it’s sablefish which is not actually a member of the cod family. No matter what it’s called, this delicious catch boasts silky, creamy white flesh and high levels of fatty Omega-3’s. Black cod is easy to prepare and works well for almost all cooking methods and recipes. Our pacific black cod is sustainably caught and processed in the U.S.
