Steak Temperature GuideHere are the magic numbers you’ll need to determine when your steak is cooked to the degree of doneness you most prefer. The internal temp is when the steak should be removed from the heat. The steak will continue to cook so the temperature will rise during the rest period.
|Rare||Red center, very cool||110°F|
|Medium Rare||Red, warm center||120°F|
|Medium Well||Pink center||140°F|
|Well||No pink||Not recommended|
*Consuming raw or undercooked meats may increase your risk of foodborne illness. The USDA recommends an internal temp of 145°F and resting for at least 3 minutes.

End Cut Strips are Good! But not as good.
This was my 2nd purchase from SRF. First time I ordered regular NY strips, and they were amazing. This time I ordered the prime end cut strips, and while they were very good, they did not live up to their predecessors.

this was a gift for an Iowa farmer for his 90th birthday.
we have not heard a report other than when he opened the package to put them in his freezer that they looked wonderful!
and this old boy has seen a lot of steaks in his day!!

New york Strips
Last order of Prime end cut was superb BUT order before of Choice was not at all close to Prime cut. Would never order Choice again.. snake River still better than stockyards!!
