Corned Beef Brisket
First time trying SRF corned beef on St. Patrick's Day. So tender and tastey! None left over for Ruebens... (But, we had been warned!) No more super market briskets for us!

Sous vide goodness
I love Reuben sandwiches. This isn't the first time I've had SRF corned beef as the foundation of one. After a 42 hour sous vide cook, you have the tastiest, most tender corned beef of your life. It's all I can do to resist ordering one a week.

Great flavor, great texture. Could be bigger
Best corned beef I have ever purchased and cooked myself. Light years ahead of the grocery store roasts. Had some unique flavors maybe allspice or something that I was not familiar with from other briskets. Would have liked it to be a little larger. When it cooked down, it was good for a family with a couple of small children bUT would not feed a larger family or one with older kids. Maybe next time will cook a couple!

Paid Too Much For Fat
It was delicious, but I'll take credit for that. I thought this would be infinitely superior to my supermarket brand insofar as leanness, as the brisket shown in your photo looked quite lean, but what I received had too much fat. Sorry. I was expecting a 5-star cut.
