These are 100% Berkshire pork (Kurobuta) for a deeper red color, rich flavor and juiciness. Our spare ribs are the choice of grill masters who prefer larger, meatier ribs than our baby backs.
*Please note: Kurobuta (Berkshire) ribs are smaller in size than conventional pork and we do not recommend them for competitions.

An absolutely tasty rack of ribs. I smoked a local store rack at the same time and it was very easy to tell the difference. The SRF rack was hands down superior! Minimum amount of prep work required as well.

As with other pork products I bought at SRF, no need for heavy rubs: the meat has enough flavor that one doesn't need to do anything. Membrane was already removed (yeah!). Just did a bit of trimming, not a lot. Very very rich of flavor

These ribs were some of the best I've ever had. Smoked them using the 3-2-1 method and they were great. They were smaller than a normal rack, but needed no trimming and were obviously very fresh when packaged.
