    Very tender piece of meat, cured it for 5 days using some Lem Backwoods Maple Bacon Cure, easy as pie. Smoked it 3.5 hours on Hickory on the Traeger and the smell, taste, and presentation were all delicious. Knocked this out of the park. And the piece is very generous, believe mine was 6.7lbs or so.

    Used this lovely pork belly for burnt ends and saved the center cut for bacon.
    Just WOW!
    Call it Berkshire or call it Kurobuta it is one dang fine piece of meat.

  • Huge hit

    We bought some filets, a gold grade brisket, a rib eye and a kurobuta pork belly recently for a family gathering. Out of all that meat, the pork belly was the favorite. We carved it up in to 1-1.5 inch pieces and followed the "How to BBQ Right" website recipe for Pork Belly Burnt Ends. We paired it with collard greens, and some cheese grits and it was awesome!
