Valentine's Guide
It’s a Valentine’s Day tradition for couples to express their love. But this holiday has evolved, and we’re here to say it’s a day to celebrate ALL your relationships with friends and family. Seasoned restaurant staff will tell you Valentine’s Day is one of the busiest nights of the year. It’s virtually impossible to get a reservation and the restaurants are chaos. This year, we invite you to stay home, avoid the madness, and make something delicious - regardless of the number of guests. Here are some of our favorite dishes to prepare the perfect Valentine’s, Galantine’s or Guy’s Night Feast!
ROMANTIC EVENING FOR TWO
This falls into the popular definition of Valentine’s Day - you and your special someone toast your love with a glass of bubbles, then sit down to a romantic candlelit dinner. Surf and turf is a date night classic, but we up the ante with a SRF Porterhouse Steak. This savory steak is paired with briny shrimp complemented by a buttery caper sauce making it a perfect dish to share with your sweetheart.
GALENTINE'S GET TOGETHER
Celebrate the women in your life with a gathering of your favorite gals. While February 13 is reserved on the calendar for Galentine’s Day, we’re here to help you celebrate your squad on any special day! Our American Wagyu picanha (also known as sirloin cap and coulotte) paired with an herby chimichurri is an excellent candidate to serve for this special girls’ night in. While chimichurri is usually green, this fresh take adds roasted red peppers, giving it a robust flavor and a pop of pink tones to celebrate the season. Grilled vegetables round out this complete meal.
FOR THE FELLAS
While the ladies are celebrating Galentine’s, it’s the perfect time to pull out the poker table, pour the bourbon and throw some steaks on the grill for a great night with the fellas. A black pepper-crusted bone-in NY Strip topped with a smoked bleu cheese compound butter is the perfect addition to any guys’ night in!
