Employee Favorites: Skirt Steak Marinade

Outside skirt steak is sometimes called a "butcher's cut" because it's a uniquely delicious cut that is popular with beef experts. This simple, but rich marinade, infuses American Wagyu with sweet and savory elements for a fast, but impressive meal.

This recipe is a stand-by at the Rebholtz family table. According to Kaitlyn Rebholtz, "Skirt steak is my go-to whenever I have dinner guests. Easy to prep, quick on the grill and tasty! It never disappoints."


Skirt Steak Marinade

  • 1 Snake River Farms American Wagyu Outside Skirt Steak Buy Now
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • Maple syrup, to taste

Skirt Steak Marinade

Mix all ingredients. Place skirt steak in a shallow dish or plastic bag and marinate for 1.5-2 hours
Place on a hot grill and cook each side for 2-3 minutes until the inside is 130°. Serve immediately.
