  • AMERICAN WAGYU GOLD GRADE BONELESS PRIME RIB 8-10 lbs.

    I purchased two of these recently. They were received on time and I particularly appreciate the extra notifications you get via text from SRF. They were trimmed well- one weighed 8.4 lbs and the other weighted 8.6 lbs. I thawed both at 35F in the fridge for 3 days. Cut the 8.6 lb one into 4x 1.25 inch steaks and 4x 1 inch steaks and vac-sealed those and threw them in the freezer for a later time. There was a extra ~.75 off cut that I enjoyed as a "snack". The 8.4 lb one was dry-brined over night for 12 hours before being vac-sealed with cracked pepper and pan-roasted rosemary and garlic. I sous vided it at 137 for 6 hours, removed the rosemary and garlic, patted it dry, and then finished it in the oven at 500 for 10 minutes. Good. Lord. Al-mighty that hunk of meat was DEEELICIOUS . The dinner party of seven left only one end piece left which I added to some nachos I had for lunch the day after. Thank you SRF for the experience. Looking forward to trying more of your products!

  • Gold Wagyu Prime Rib -

    This was over the top amazing! I seasoned it and let it sit almost to room temperature - roasted it at 450 for 30 minutes, then finished it at 350 for 90 minutes. It was the prefect medium rare. The meat was so tender you didn't even need a knife. Will buy this again and again!!

  • Gold Waygu Prime Rib

    My wife and I wanted a special treat, so ordered the boneless Gold Waygu prime rib. The flavor was good, but for the price was not impressed with amount of fat and being a little tough. Cooked it the same way I have always done, but really didn’t see a big difference in quality vs the box store rib roasts we’ve purchased in previous years. Again, it had good flavor, but just disappointed in overall quality of cut.
