Serve delicious meals in minutes with Kurobuta pork shanks, fully cooked and sealed with a savory sauce in a heat resistant package. These are our classic American Kurobuta pork shanks, but pre-cooked using the sous vide process. Simply thaw and heat in a pot of boiling water, a sous vide immersion circulator or even a microwave oven. Once fully heated, plate, cover with the sauce and serve. Delicious with mashed potatoes, rice, couscous or polenta. Add your favorite vegetable for a quick, gourmet meal. Includes two fully cooked, individually sealed Kurobuta pork shanks in sauce. Each package weighs about 1.2 lbs.
For sous vide, set immersion circulator to 145°F. Cook thawed pork shanks for 1 hour. Cook frozen shanks for 2 hours.
For boil-in-bag, immerse thawed pork shank in boiling water, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 45 minutes. Cook frozen shanks for 2 hours.
For microwave, thaw pork shank. Cut a 1" slit in the package, place on a plate and cook on HIGH for 7. 5 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Carefully open pouch and pour contents on a serving dish.
