AMERICAN WAGYU FILET MIGNON WITH CHEF’S GOLD

The American Wagyu filet mignon is our top selling steak for good reason. Each hand-cut steak is perfectly proportioned, has a fine velvety texture, and a wonderfully mild flavor. The tenderloin, where the filet is sourced, is an extremely lean section of beef and does not respond well to dry-aging. To add the essence of dry-aged flavor to our filets, this unique duo of steaks includes two generous portions of Chef’s Gold.

Prime Food Distributor, our dry-aging partner, carefully isolates USDA Prime tenderloin fat which has a unique brittle composition. This singular fat is hand-trimmed, ultra-fine ground, formed into even-sized cylinders and is dry-aged. Use Chef’s Gold in the final stage of cooking to add a rich, buttery aroma and a concentrated beef flavor. The combination of American Wagyu and Chef’s Gold elevates the flavor profile of our filet mignon to an exceptional eating experience.

Steak Temperature Guide

Here are the magic numbers you’ll need to determine when your steak is cooked to the degree of doneness you most prefer. The internal temp is when the steak should be removed from the heat. The steak will continue to cook so the temperature will rise during the rest period.

  • 50th wedding anniversary gift

    We unfortunately had to cancel our big family celebration and vacation for our parents 50th wedding anniversary due to COVID!! We were all so disappointed! As we started to discuss how to get a memorable and fun gift for them, while maintaining social distancing, we decided to send them 2 beautiful place settings, decorations, flowers, a beautiful cake, and a meal fit for a king and queen! What a huge hit it was! And we had a zoom call right before their dinner, so we were all there in person! The Wagyu beef was to be that star of the show and your company delivered! They said it was the best steak they ever tasted! You don’t know how much it meant for us to spoil them and treat them to this speciality! Thank you for your help in making this extra special, even if COVID took our family vacation plans away!!   • use a butterknife

    INCREDIBLE. I hate to say it but I usually use 57 Sauce on my meat. But I tried this steak WITHOUT the sauce,... incredible. So tender, so delicious. I cooked it up using their method of Searing both sides and then putting in oven. Wow. I once had a steak so tender I could it with a butterknife (Don Shula's in Miami) and I'll always remember that. This steak was like that. I devoured it; in fact, I couldn't eat anything else until it was done! lol.

  • The BEST steaks EVER.

    You get what you pay for... You want the juiciest, easy to cut, tender, melt in your mouth steak... try one of SRF steaks. Any steak... or pork chop even. I have tried them all.. and no regrets w anything. ENJOY!
