Steak Temperature GuideHere are the magic numbers you’ll need to determine when your steak is cooked to the degree of doneness you most prefer. The internal temp is when the steak should be removed from the heat. The steak will continue to cook so the temperature will rise during the rest period.

Cowboy Steak to Beat Restaurant Quality
We prepared the steak by seasoning it with mineral salt and dry mustard, letting that sit for 2-3 hours in refrigerator. It was cooked using the reverse-sear method and finishing it on the grill, all burners on high. Great flavor and texture. No butter needed. No sauce needed nor wanted. Enjoy!

It’s my husband’s birthday today and he asked for a 3lb prime ‘cowboy ribeye’ steak. Reverse sear method was awesome. He smoked it on his Traeger for 1 1/2 hours (112 degrees), then grilled it on his Weber for 4 minutes on each side. It’s delicious, although it’s also super rich. Happy birthday to my best friend.

Great Customr Service and Crazy Good Meat!
My son got me a Traeger Grill for Birthday/Fathers day and there was a SNR coupon so I decided to try it. Unfortunately first order was delayed endlessly by shipping company and came totally thawed. Customer service was AWESOME! Offered to refund/replace and worked with me on delivery date as I was out of town. 2nd try was perfect - everything frozen hard as a rock. Made the Cowboy Steak today and it was one of the finest, most delicious steaks I have ever had. Made me think of Monty Python's Life of Brian and the stoning scene where the Blasphemer said the piece of Halibut was good enough for Jehovah.. Well, this steak certainly was!

The best steak I’ve ever had!
I received my steak totally frozen, and that was great. My steaks where two and a half pounds. Perfect marbling and thick. I did a reverse sear with smoking after sear. Seriously this was the best steak I’ve ever had, and I’m from Chicago.

One of the best steaks I’ve ever made. I offset smoked it on my Weber with oak. Turned out absolutely perfect. This is truly prime beef!
