This past weekend we had the gold grade 10oz Waygu beef tenderloins. OMG!! My family and I almost in unison said "WOW"after the first bite which practically melted in your mouth. There are none better, you got me hooked. I look forward to purchasing more products from SRF and of course more of those incredible gold grade Waygu beef tenderloins. Thank You So Much!

Good flavor but disappointed over all
These steaks had absolutely amazing flavor when cooked sous vide and finished in a cast iron to a perfect rare. Salt pepper and rosemary was all they needed for seasoning.
Where I was disappointed is in the texture. Much like other frozen steaks I’ve bought from other online retailers, the steak had a (for lack of a better word) “dry” mouth feel. The steaks weren’t actually dry by any means at all, but they just had a “previously frozen” texture that I’ve noticed with other previously frozen steaks.
Despite the absolutely incredible flavor, I can’t say I would buy these fillets again as they just didn’t seem to hold up well to being frozen. Maybe I would purchase a more robust cut of meat down the road in hopes that it handles freezing better, but I can’t honestly recommend SRF fillet based on my first experience with the company.
Removed 2 stars for the texture, 1 star for the bad value represented by the meat. Too bad because my wife and I were very excited to try SRF products based on their great reputation. Unfortunately the great flavor was overshadowed by the “dry” texture.

wagyu gold grade filets
Wow! We are completely ruined for filet mignon since we had our first gold grade steak at the beginning of the year. We have told everyone we know who loves steak to try them (and some of them have, after dinner at our house)!

10 oz fillet
These steaks were beyond words! Reverse seared and served medium rare. They have to be the best I have ever tasted. All of our guests agreed. Would definitely purchase again.
