These are 100% Berkshire pork (Kurobuta) for a deeper red color, rich flavor and juiciness. Our spare ribs are the choice of grill masters who prefer larger, meatier ribs than our baby backs.
*Please note: Kurobuta (Berkshire) ribs are smaller in size than conventional pork and we do not recommend them for competitions.

Good, not Great
These were good. But definitely not worth the 5-10x price tag over local spare ribs. While I think the wagyu steaks are occasionally worth splurging, I will definitely not be buying these ribs again.

The best ribs you can buy
I've ordered the Kurabota ribs a few times now. Tried many others, but none even come close. I'm so disappointed you're out of stock, hurry and get more in please!

Came out of the package trimmed beautifully. Smaller than expected even with the disclaimer saying they are not for competitions. WIll be buying again as they were amazing.

Best ribs I've ever had
I used a homemade dry rub for these ribs and they were probably the best I've ever had. 3 hours of smoke and 3 hours wrapped in butcher paper at 225°. We'll be buying again.
