Black grade filet mignon
Meat was great tasting but I was not impressed with how tuff it was.I hoped for a better cut of meat for the price

Ordered six NW Beef prime 8 oz filets recently. Wife cooked three straight from the freezer for two hours at 135 in the sous vide. Got home from work and I finished them off searing on each side in a carbon steel pan with butter. Better than any steakhouse, perfect cut and temperature for us. SRF is consistently great.

Excellent. I've never seen so much marbleization in a filet. Cooked them in a sous vide circulator and then seared them off in a cast iron skillet. Best filet ever!!
