Absolutely the best
I can’t count how many shoulders I’ve cooked throughout the years but, I must say that this is by far the best. We had 12 people over for a Fathers Day BBQ and everyone said that it was the best pork they had ever had. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Amazing piece of meat came perfectly trimmed, weight at start 17 pounds after
eight hours of cooking yielded nearly 13 pounds of meat with bones removed. Flavor was deep and rich without the fattyness of supermarket pork. My wife said it was the best pork ever. Also to note did not use any flavor rubs just a little kosher salt. I will definitely purchase more of these Berkshire Pork Shoulders in the future.

Go Big or Go Home
This was a sensational piece of meat. We covered the pork end to end with a rub and put into a large roasting pan and gave an initial 450 sear for 45 minutes. Then cooked all day at 225 in an oven with some liquid in the bottom of the pan with some aromatics. We had the pork elevated on a rack and cook for an additional 8 hours covered. The last hour we added kielbasa and warmed some sauerkraut on the side. this was my favortie purchase from SRF so far and I have had almost everything.

SRF Team : Wow, what an exquisite process! We really appreciate you sharing your cooking method with us all, Jonathan!
Ordered the pork shoulder to cook for my father's 80th birthday. Seasoned with kosher salt and pepper. Smoked for 20 hrs with apple, pecan wood chunks mixed with oak/hickory lump charcoal. Let rest for 4 hours. Then easily pulled apart and chopped for some Eastern NC BBQ. Added very little vinegar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. By far the best piece of pork I have ever tasted. My family, who loves their BBQ, could not stop raving about the pork. WOW. WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!

My first order of this shoulder. Smoked at 230-250 for 19 hours with some cherry. The result was outstanding. The pork flavor is on another level from what I am accustomed to. Sooo tender and delicious
