  • Wagyu gold brisket

Ordered this brisket for a girls night. It did not disappoint. I used an infusion and marinated for 24 hrs., patted it dry and used a home made rub recipe. Smoked in a large heavy duty foil pan to retain all of the delicious juices at 320 degrees which is as high as my Bradley electric smoker heats. I used the Bradley cherry pucks. The whole smoking process took approx. 5 hours including a foil wrap about 3 hrs in, ending with an internal temp of 205. I retained the juices, re-wrapped the brisket with foil and wrapped it in a movers blanket to rest for 4 hours. Raves all around. Just had to send portions home to the husbands. You could cut it with a fork. I have to say the service at SRF was top notch. I phoned several times with questions, was able to speak with a real person who reaasured me that I was going in the right direction and that it would be wonderful. She was right. I just ordered my second gold brisket. My mouth won't stop watering with anticipation. Thank you SRF for such a great product and company all the way around.

  • Wagyu Brisket

First, SRF did exactly what they said they would. My brisket was delivered on the scheduled date without delay. Upon receiving the brisket, I was amazed at how fresh and marbleized it was. I seasoned it simply with Himalayan salt, garlic, ground pepper, habanero lime, and paprika. I smoked this brisket in my Char-Grill Akorn Kamodo grill/smoker at 250° only using cherry chunks....no charcoal on this beautiful brisket. It took about 4 hrs to reach 160°. I wrapped it in butcher paper and placed back on the smoker. Once it reached 198°, I let some steam escape, then wrapped back up and placed in a dry cooler to rest for about an hour and a half. This brisket was hands down the best cut of meat I've ever smoked! Moist, delicious, tender, and everyone loved it! I will definitely be buying another from SRF!
