  • Brisket Perfection

    Ordered this (14lb) for a meal with a large group (32 people) Labor Day outing. Made a custom, super simple dry rub, smoked it for 8 hours at 180, wrapped up in foil and cooked for another 7.5 at 180. That simple. It was amazing. There was NOTHING left from this brisket. It was devoured in 10 mins. Could have gone for the larger size and still eaten every last piece.

    Can’t wait to smoke another one of these. It’s going to happen in the very near future.

  • Amazing Brisket Blowout!

    Ok - well, here we go again with YET ANOTHER amazing review of a SRF product. I smoked this gold grade brisket for a total of 10-12 hours and enjoyed with my family - here's the kicker:
    The following day I brought some to my brother's birthday party. We decided to briefly pan fry the golden slices of goodness (using a dab of SRF tallow at the start). The slices/cubes heated through in no time and quickly formed a very crispy and light outer coating - MEAT FRICKIN' CANDY! I'm telling ya, I dont think SRF can really do much wrong barring the occassional issues with weight.
    Tonight, it's pulled Kurobuta pork collar! Thanks, as always, SRF!
