Back again to sing the praises of SRF! Ordered yet another outside skirt steak (because they are just that good) and the weight came in on point! The flavor NEVER misses and my family is always amazed. I can't imagine any company being perfect - perfection seems impossible; however, SRF is about as close to perfection as one can get. Thanks SRF for a great product - AGAIN!!!!

The Outside Gamble
Without question, SRF is THE place I get my American Waygu! However, it's a very sad day when I feel short changed on the weight of an expensive product. My outside skirt steak came in at just over 1 pound - almost a half pound under "the typical" weight.
I remain a relatively satisfied customer on these days; however, the gamble I take on getting my money's worth can get quite frustrating.

Excellent beef, so tender,flavourly, that even writing this review I am salivating sorry but I have to go fire my grill and try my ribeye filet.

Just wow..... everyone in the house LOVED this steak
So I dont usually say just wow but this was so fatty I mean it's not gold grade it's only black I beleive but the marbling was like gold grade eating it was a huge explosion of savory flavor it looked a lot like the picture had to cut it in half to cook it on the grill. But just wow. Even my scrawny brother who eats not a lot ate a decent portion and then took some for tomorrow. I prepared it by letting it marinate in salt and pepper in a vacume sealed bag for about 24 hours then just threw it on the grill after patting it dry with paper towel. Took mayhe 8 minutes all together 4:30 on first side 3:30 on second side took maybe 30 seconds to flip both, one sides more thick and one sides more thin so I let one side go for an extra minute and the other came off a minute early so 2 minutes difference. But both were medium rare to perfection!!!!!!!! Didnt last 1 hour after it was prepared 10 minutes of that short time was the rest time where I let a tented piece of tin foil lay on top for 10 minutes might have ended up being 14 when I got back around to it. Did this on my kamado joe and seared at 650F° but I wouldnt be against 700 and maybe take off 30 seconds before each flip remove 1 min total cook time each just my opinion. Skinny nice fast to make weighed 2lb before cook and seems about 1.8 after, maybe 1.9lb it didnt loss much at all shrunk maybe 1 inch each in total and that's it. So fatty and delicious I will buy again to impress and has bit to savor that amazing fat I'm keto and usually got steak alone but this time I needed bread cause it was literally like a small explosion in my mouth of flavor it hit all angles
