Steak Temperature Guide

Here are the magic numbers you’ll need to determine when your steak is cooked to the degree of doneness you most prefer. The internal temp is when the steak should be removed from the heat. The steak will continue to cook so the temperature will rise during the rest period.

Rare Red center, very cool 110°F
Medium Rare Red, warm center 120°F
Medium Pink throughout 130°F
Medium Well Pink center 140°F
Well No pink Not recommended

*Consuming raw or undercooked meats may increase your risk of foodborne illness. The USDA recommends an internal temp of 145°F and resting for at least 3 minutes.

    Wow, who knew a flank steak could taste like this. I actually butterflied it and used 1/2 for a stuffed rolled flank steak and used the other half for fajitas. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely buy again.

    We loved flank steak and have been buying it for years at a top butcher in New York City but Snake River was so much better. More flavorful, more tender...we made it with a cocoa-infused mole sauce and it was a huge hit.

  • The Steaks I chose for my birthday over elk tenderloins

    I'll just keep it simple I had beautiful elk tenderloins in my freezer next
    to SNF Waygu Flank Steaks and I chose the flank steaks.

    Get a great sear on them with a little charring and they are truly amazing.
    When you have a bite that is 2x as good you can bet it has some char on it.

  • Simply Amazing Steaks

    We absolutely love these Waygu Flank steaks. I grill them with Rufus Teague's meat rub and they are consistently great. Somehow they are even better in a couple of days as leftovers. Truly amazing flavor and I personally like them more that the tenderloins, I think it's because you get more of the amazing Waygu marbling.
