Bone In Black Strip
I've purchased a number of steaks but this order was not up to par. The bone-in new York was well under an inch and was not trimmed....looked nothing like their picture. If I was served this steak at a restaurant It would have been sent back because it would have been $100+. I will not purchase a bone-in new York in the future. More upsetting was that every steak I purchased (5 total) had lost the vacuum seal. I was planning to use several when they arrived so it was not an issue for today. For the few that went back in the freezer with out the seal I'm sure they will be of less quality.

I bought this steak for my husband's birthday - we used the sous vide then seared it in a cast iron and it came out incredibly delicious! This is the 2nd time we have purchased from SRF and the 3rd time we have had their steaks (we bought one when were were out to eat at a place in Jackson Hole, WY) They have never disappointed and I would certainly buy them again, for a special occasion of course!

BONE IN WAGYU BLACK GRADE NEW YORK STRIP
I'm sorry to say that I was not happy.. My husband grilled them medium rare and they looked beautiful; however, looks were deceiving. They were so tough it was a challenge cutting them with our steak knives and very difficult to chew. Also, there was no beef flavor. We could not eat them. I'm not sure if this was a fluke, but spending $160 for 2 steaks it's really disappointing. I have previously ordered the Prime Rib-eye and quite a few of the Wagyu Gold Grade filet mignons and have been extremely happy.
