Good but weight was off
I’ll start off by saying these were some of the most tender steaks I’ve ever eaten. But one was almost 1oz smaller and one was almost 4oz smaller than the minimum size. Snake river made it right and credited me but for an $80 steak the weight really should be right. But absolutely delicious

I cook mine room Temp. in a cast iron, very hot and finish with a sizzling butter/ garlic/thyme/rosemary bast. I roll the edges in the pan to get every part browned and caramelized. After it is done, I set it aside for a full five minutes so that those juices are held in tight when I cut into it and then bite.
There is nothing on this planet more enjoyable than biting into a salty Snake River New York steak! The way the juices squeeze out between your teeth is some kind of Heaven I’ve never experienced from any other type of meat. The New York does have a bite to it, you do need to chew a little bit and then halfway through the chew, the juices squirt… Just thinking about it makes me want another one. I don’t want it so tender, it’s like eating liver!
For me, finding these steaks has been life-changing. Be sure and salt the steak well before you put it on the pan, and also don’t pepper it until after it’s cooked. Make sure the butter is so hot that when drizzle it on the steak it sizzles. I wish I could cook it for you because getting the sear right is about 75% of what makes the steak so good. When you get it right, expect heaven! Overcook it and it’s a disappointment.

Gold Grade Wagyu NY STRIP
Best steak I've ever had. Well worth the money. Amazing texture and taste is unreal. Oh and btw it melts in your mouth like butter
