This was my first time with American Wagyu and it did not dissapoint. The richness is something that everyone should experience.

Ditto on other reviews; however, I was disappointed in the amount of fat that was left on the steak. Some were just right and other ones I got were not acceptable for that price. Again, excellent tastng

good meat, poor service
I had ordered their gold cut wagyu new york strip steak to do an early valentine's dinner for my wife and I. We had everything planned. Valentine's was a Friday we celebrate a day early so I chose to have the steaks arrive Tuesday. Tuesday I get an email saying the steaks would be one day late. That would be fine but then theh dont even ship out until Wednesday and didnt arrive until Thursday. Surf's response is here is 10% off your next order.
.....our special dinner was ruined and you think I will give you more money? The steaks were great but there are plenty other options to get similar cuts from.

I've had a lot of SRF's various cuts and grades, but this was truly out of this world. Incredible marbling through the whole steak.
Salted with a touch of garlic powder, then cooked sous vide for an hour and 10 minutes @ 133 degrees. Seared on a steel plate (better than cast iron!) for a minute per side.
Melts in your mouth with incredible flavor. A costly cut, but absolutely worth it for a special occasion.
