We decided this Thanksgiving to do a different entree than turkey or ham. This was an axing hit! We smoked according to the provided directions and the flavor and tenderness of this meat was amazing! I’ve already ordered two gift sets to send to friends and family for Christmas!

Melt in your mouth perfection
We treated ourselves to our first SRF brisket for Christmas last year and one bite in we knew this was the start of an annual tradition. We've been smoking meat for years, including many briskets, and *nothing* compares to this. We were also very impressed with how well packaged everything was and the freezer bag that came as a gift remains my sturdiest and most favorite grocery bag almost 1 year later. We recommend SRF to everyone!

The point is like fine pate when cold
Just an amazing brisket. Second time around I did a 19lb one for 11 hours and 2 hours rest. Beautiful. Also nearly no trimming necessary. Top tip - the point when cold can be thinly sliced and then laid on toast. It’s like extremely fine pate. I also use the left over flat to make the best chili ever. Amazing.

Happy Birthday to me!
Smoked one of these for my birthday. Salted 48 hours in advance and cooked to 203. Both point and flat were moist and delicious. Everyone complimented me but it was the quality of the meat that did the trick. Will order again for another evening of good food, good friends, and good wine!

Outstanding Best Brisket I've ever made
I've been looking for a Brisket that justified the time and effort of making it! Done a bunch of "Primes" only to be disappointed by dryness. Cooked this one exactly the same and it was perfect. Salted 24 hours in advance, dry rub, NO injection, didn't seem to really "stall" but I crutched it at 160, pulled at 205 and put in a faux cambro into serving. It can very well trimmed, but I cut back the fat cap to 1/8 inch figuring the level of marbling didn't need it and I was right. End result is no scraping off of the bark from being too fatty. Interesting, the point was not overly fatty in relationship to the flat. And it had a better consistency than points usually do. Competitors, take note, this could be your secret weapon!
