Beef short ribs are larger and meatier than their popular pork counterparts. Our American Wagyu Short Ribs are Plate Short Ribs (NAMP 123A series for you beef experts) are sourced from the plate primal located below the ribs. These ribs are highly marbled, meaty and unusually delicious.
Each package now contains 1, 3-bone slab that can be prepared as fancy or simple as you’d like. Try them long-cooked in the classic French dish pot-au-feu, seasoned with Korean spices or slow-smoked barbecue style. No matter how you cook them, these giant American Wagyu beauties will be part of a memorable feast.

WAGYU Beef Shortribs
I have done The Northwest Beef shortribs several times and they were always spectacular. This was my first time smoking Wagyu Beef Short Ribs. I can not believe the difference. I'll never go back to "spectacular" again. Believe me when I say, they were worth every penny.

I purchased these ribs for the new year and absolutely fabulous!! I smoked these 6 hours then finished wrapping with butcher paper. Will order again.

SRF Team : Hi Sandy, the Black Grade Beef Short Ribs can feed 5-6 people comfortably with fairly generous serving sizes.
Wonderful product held back by weird packiaging decisions
This is the first Waygu meat I have ever cooked and quality did not disappoint. I made these for Thanksgiving and they were a huge hit. Five (or six) stars for the meat itself. I also very please that product arrived when promised and completely frozen.
But . . .
I am perplexed as to why:
1. I must buy two racks at once. Why can’t I buy one at a time?
2. Why are the racks wrapped together? This means I must cook them at the same time because repackaging these are a pain.
3. Why are they packaged at a weird angle from each other? Mine were packed together but at different angles. This made storing them difficult.
I would buy this several times a year if I could buy one rack at a time or at least two individually packed racks But as is I may purchase once or twice a year. Weird decisions for a $250 product.
