Double R Ranch

The ribeye is blessed with the most natural marbling of all steaks and our Traditional Ribeyes are no exception. The eye of these USDA Prime Ribeye Steaks feature fine grained beef that has a smooth texture and deep flavor. The rich cap surrounds the eye and is considered to be the best tasting portion of the ribeye or any of the best steak cuts. Beef is graded by the USDA based on marbling and just 3% achieves the grade of PRIME BEEF. Simply stated, in the world of steaks these beautiful Traditional Ribeyes reign as king.

Steak Temperature Guide

Here are the magic numbers you’ll need to determine when your steak is cooked to the degree of doneness you most prefer. The internal temp is when the steak should be removed from the heat. The steak will continue to cook so the temperature will rise during the rest period.

Preference Description Internal Temp
Rare Red center, very cool 110°F
Medium Rare Red, warm center 120°F
Medium Pink throughout 130°F
Medium Well Pink center 140°F
Well No pink Not recommended

*Consuming raw or undercooked meats may increase your risk of foodborne illness. The USDA recommends an internal temp of 145°F and resting for at least 3 minutes.

  • Great Flavorful Steaks

    Hey there folks,
The steaks are tasting as I had hoped --- easy to chew, super taste great marbling with just enough fat. Happy Eating!
And just to let you know when I received an order of 4 steaks and 1 wasn't up to par. The company discussed it with me asking me a few questions about how I cooked it , etc. and shazam! They sent me a new steak! Honorable, I'd say. Great company, great steaks ~

  • Traditional Cut Ribeye 12 Oz

Not to impressed. Should have been thicker and with more flavor.

  • Better than grocery store meats

These ribeyes were more flavorful than those in my local grocery store,. I guess I am spoiled because these steaks pale in comparison to Snake River's Waygu ribeye filets. I tried them while waiting for the Waygu beef to come back into stock, but I definitely prefer the smaller Waygu ribeye filet.

  • traditional cut ribeye 12 0z

Disappointed with thickness of steak. Cooked it only 3 minutes a side & let it rest. Steak was dry & not full of flavor. Expected far more from prime meat.

  • Marginal

When I opened the steak and found that it was less than an inch thick,,, I had my doubts. I probably overcooked the thing but the taste was just not there!! No more!
