Here are the magic numbers you’ll need to determine when your steak is cooked to the degree of doneness you most prefer. The internal temp is when the steak should be removed from the heat. The steak will continue to cook so the temperature will rise during the rest period.

  • Filets Bone-In and Boneless!

    Ordered both bone-in and some boneless Filets. Both types were very high quality and wonderful tasting. Just a bit of salt and pepper seared on my cast iron plate. Definitely some of the best steak I've ever eaten.

  • Superb Bone in Filets

    I ordered both the prime and Waygu bone in filets. Very tender. Cooked each of them at the same time with only salt for seasoning. Each steak had excellent flavor with a noticeable difference. Not sure I had a preference.

  • Great steak, but....

    Ordered 4 of these. The advertised weight of 12 ounces is not reality. I received 2 steaks at 9-12 ounces and 2 steaks that were grossly under. I contacted SRF and they sent 2 more steaks free of charge. Unfortunately, the two steaks that they sent were also under advertised weight. I can understand an ounce or two, but if you advertise 12 ounces, and receive 6/7 ounces, this is a problem. SRF did everything in their power to fix the problem, This is a new product and I understand there are growing pains.

    If it helps, the steak was absolutely fabulous. No worries about quality, expect nothing but the best from SRF.
