    First time ever to smoke this Pork shoulder. The results were outstanding. Can't wait to try another one. This will be my go to Pork in the future. I don't believe any meat processing company could improve on the quality of this product.

    This was my first purchase. Fantastic cut and perfect fat ratio. Smoked for 15 hours to 193 degrees, then wrapped to finish. The pork shredded easily and melted in your mouth. Followed APL's "Get A Book Bone-in Shoulder." Also, top ratings for Kathy in customer service. Quickly and painlessly walked me through registration and purchase. She also answered all my questions, and there were many. Thank you, Kathy. You have a customer for life!

  • Pork Perfection

    The Kurobuta bone-in shoulder has been the best cut of meat I have had to date. Perfect snowflake fat marbling. Fed 16 adults with leftovers to spare. Injected and sat for two hours, then smoked for 13 hours. So tender and flavorful! Is was my first purchase, but Snake River Farms has a customer for life. I would also like to thank Kathy in customer service for helping me through the purchase process and answering all of my questions. Great lady! Awesome!!!!

  • Pork-tastic

    This is my 3rd purchase of this cut. Amazes me every time. I've wondered if I could dress up a regular old piece of shoulder to see if I can get the complexity, texture and depth I get from the kurobota, and it's hands down the winner every time. Just salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder...not sure if it even needs that. Be thankful you can afford it, but it's worth it.
