Snake River Farms

Our distinctive Kurobuta pork chops are finely marbled, exceptionally juicy and packed with flavor. Unlike non-heritage breeds, Snake River Farms pork is a striking crimson color which chefs and food scientists acknowledge is a true indicator of high quality pork. These are hand cut and trimmed with the bone exposed for a stunning plate appearance. Serve these chops simply grilled or prepared with a classic stuffing.

Please note there can be some variation in size with our natural pork chops. Each bone-in rack contains 10 to 12 bones. We hand-cut each chop to include a bone and the normal taper of each rack can translate to some chops that are larger than others. We specify a minimum size of 5 oz. and the chops can go up in size from that target weight.

“Highly Recommended. Tasters raved about these reddish-pink chops’ extremely juicy, tender texture and “intense pork-y flavor…” -- Cooks Illustrated

  • Nothing special

These were not any better than I get at the grocery store. I have had much better chops than these, for far less cost.

  • Inconsistent weight

I have bought the pork chops before and they are good and for the most part the same weight/size. However my most recent purchase the weight were two at 0.3 lbs one at 0.4 lbs and one at 0.6 lbs. In the past they're usually around 0.5 lbs . 0.3 lbs?! To visualize that, look at the photo of the pork chop on the website, now cut it in half...that's what I received. That isn't enough for one person. I will have to cook both the 0.3 lbs for a meal to equal the one 0.6 lbs one. So instead of having enough for two meals I only have enough for one. For the amount of money one pays you should expect the pork chops to be a consistent weight. I was cheated.
