Shipping Policy

At Snake River Farms, selling and shipping high quality meat is what we do every day. Shipments are processed Monday through Thursday for Tuesday through Friday delivery, according to shipping option selected at checkout. Snake River Farms does not ship or deliver on Saturday or Sunday.

To maintain the highest quality, our products are individually sealed in air-tight packaging, perfectly aged and flash frozen prior to shipment. To help ensure your order arrives in excellent condition; each order is shipped in a recyclable shipper box, complete with preparation guide, and packed with dry ice in a reusable polystyrene container.



Snake River Farms offers three shipping options. Total days to deliver is based on selected shipping method and delivery date.  See chart below for detailed shipping/arrival date schedule.  
Example: Order placed on Wednesday with Standard Shipping will ship the following Monday for a total of 8 business days from Order Date to Delivery Date.

Standard shipping is offered for select Thursday and Friday delivery dates. To receive standard shipping, orders must be received by 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), Monday for delivery on Thursday or Friday and by 1 p.m. EST Tuesday for delivery on Friday. UPS will deliver Standard Shipping packages by the end day Thursday or Friday. This delivery time can be as late as the evening hours in some locations. Standard shipping for orders received after 1 p.m. EST on Tuesday, will be shipped the following Monday for Thursday delivery. Saturday deliveries are not available. Standard shipping not available for Alaska or Hawaii. 


Express shipping consists of two-day delivery via UPS. UPS two-day service will deliver the package by the end of the second business day after shipping. This delivery time can be as late as the evening hours in some locations. To receive shipments within two days, deliveries must be received by 1 p.m. EST, Monday through Wednesday. Express Shipping for orders received after 1 p.m. EST on Wednesday, will be shipped the following Monday. Saturday deliveries are not available.


For overnight orders to be received the next day, your order must be received by 1 p.m. EST Monday through Thursday. Overnight shipping for orders received after 1 p.m. EST on Thursday, will be shipped the following Monday. Saturday deliveries are not available.

We deliver within the United States with the exception of Puerto Rico, Guam and other U.S. territories. At this time, we are unable to process international orders or deliver to PO and APO/FPO Boxes.


Snake River Farms makes every attempt to fulfill orders based on customer requested ship date; however holidays and unforeseen circumstances can force exceptions to delivery. Below are important shipping notes to keep in mind when placing your order.

  • All shipments require a street address (sorry, no PO boxes).
  • Snake River Farms is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses. Be sure to double-check addresses. 
  • Inclement weather and other unforeseen circumstances can cause shipments to be delayed.
  • Snake River Farms is not responsible for shipment delays caused by adverse or unpredictable weather conditions.
  • Many of our larger cuts (e.g. roasts, hams, briskets, etc.) can take 3-4 days to completely thaw, please plan accordingly and schedule shipments to allow for thawing.
  • Be sure to double check gift recipient addresses.
  • Billing customer is responsible to make sure gift recipient is available for delivery.

If any item you have ordered is not available, we will substitute an item of equal or greater value to ensure your order arrives on time. Some packaging and assortments may vary slightly from photographs. Prices are subject to change and are listed for the 50 United States.


Due to the nature of our product, we are not able to take returns back into our shipment facility. If you feel a product you received does not meet our guarantee please contact us at 877.736.0193 or within 30 days of the reciept of your product and our team will gladly assist you beginning the refund/review process. 

Occasionally we will require product to be returned to our operations department for review. If it is determined a return is necessary, our team will provide a shipping label, packaging and facilitate a pickup with our shipping carrier for the product to be returned. Once the product is received and reviewed a credit will be issued or replacement product will be shipped to customer. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the receipt of product. 

The review process will take no longer than 14 days from date of initiation. Once a review has been completed a) replacement product will be shipped, b) a refund will be issued to original form of payment, or c) store credit will be issued within 48 hours.
